The failing economy has not nearly made it's debut. Long before the news began to announce the failing economy the consuming market realized there was something desperately wrong as pricing bounced not only from high to low, but also from commodity to commodity. We felt the blow. It is no longer possible to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. Produce has been priced so far out of range, along with meats; the freshness we experienced in the past is long gone.

Just as the gas guzzle era began to wane there were shortages that involved everything that went into the manufacturing and design of automobiles. This occurred in the early 70's. Shortages were created by the manufacturing companies. Oil was one of these commodities that started this activity. The following information is going to alarm many of the readers. I can remember how difficult it was to find a gas station that had oil. There was no oil available at all in the department stores. All shelves were empty out west. Driving from place to place looking for oil could burn up over a half tank of gas and most car owners were driving guzzlers.

I finally found one service station that had oil. The owner was fierce. I mentioned to him how long I had been driving around burning up my gas looking for oil. This seems to upset him more. He asked me why are you doing that, and how long have you been driving around. Sharing with him the fact that I just burned up a quarter tank of gas made him even hotter. I asked him "Sir, aren't you aware there is an oil shortage?" He asked, “Who told you that?" Now I’m thinking to myself this man is not only angry he is very unaware of this situation I'm experiencing. "Haven't you been listening to the news?" I asked him. "Yes." he answered, "But you can't believe everything you hear." You want shortage, I'll give you shortage, open your trunk. So just to go along with his attitude I cooperated. I opened the trunk and he began throwing in quarts of oil by the armful. I had to stop him. He told me that his manager just called him and instructed him to stop selling oil. He went on to say that the truck delivered another order just before the manager advised him to stop selling. His dilemma was the fact that he was on overload, He had run out of places to store stock, and it was crowding his service area. He assured me that I wasn't going to have to drive around any longer and added by the time you use that oil up maybe they will stop playing games.

He was fed up.

It is time for us to get fed up. And take action. I'm not saying create criminal activity, but we need to do some things for ourselves. We have been pacified with so much comfort that we have been lured and lulled into a passive gullible state that has been confirmed by our actions even in the consumer surveys they use to make marketing analysis with. They know too much about our spending. Stop involving in these surveys for one thing. Another is become active and stop believing what we hear, and believe in what we are experiencing.

As I mentioned above they keep track of our spending habits, and bounce inflated prices to wherever we spend the most, or create instances that will stimulate shortages at one time, and then create situations that increase pricing on other occasions. If you think about your experiences as a consumer and you belong to the baby boomer era, or born between 1946 and 1964, you are able to follow everything and recall everything I write here, because you are witness to the fact, and have experienced these things.

Three major commodities. Oil, tobacco, food, is regulated to cause the consumer to shift in purchase decisions. They are also the first to be selected for regulation when the economy shifts as it has now. And as you know we have been hit very hard with taxation in these areas. The regulation controls our use and purchase habits. The decision to stop taxing food purchase only shifted the taxation to other consumer uses. Transportation is another regulated concern.

We will focus on the basic three and just recollect how we have been manipulated to keep the economy afloat. The regulatory commission is finally running into the wall. We are not buying. The economy is sick and getting much more ill as the time goes on.

We witness the foreclosure crises, the bank’s collapse, the bailouts, the crises continues. What the economists are predicting is another round or round two for residential foreclosures, and the beginning of the first round for commercial foreclosures. We are speaking small business, local banks, hotels, and the like. What is next to follow is stocks and bonds.

September 11th was a signal that there was something going wrong. There was an attempt orchestrated to hide the evidence of corruption and illegal activity on Wall Street due to the World Trade Center involvement in drug trafficking and arms trade. We were too alarmed in our passive gullible state and conditioned by the news to realize that the world economy had shifted, and the illegal’s were becoming exposed to the public.

The evidence is here. It has hit us dead in the face. We are all experiencing what was attempted to be covered up. I remember very well September 11. I was at work for a publishing company on contract. The company allowed the news over intercom while we worked. As the news was delivered it became very difficult to work. We were all afraid.

One thing I was not, and that was naive. I had premonition about two years before, after the Clarence/Anita scandal.

You may wonder how this connects. If you recall during this time Noriega was being extradited to USA for trial, and the Contra's and The Sandinista National Liberation Front were in the headlines. Oliver North and the Reagan administration were much in the headlines regarding the arms for drugs and drugs for arms. The Clarence/Anita scandal was orchestrated to keep the Noriega trial from going public because Noriega promised to expose the drugs and arms traffic that he had operating within the jurisdiction of the White House.

I'm sure you are asking what does this have to do with the economy. These are the indicators we ignored in our passiveness that the world economy was in a mess due to mishandling of funds and illegal investments by the administration due to illegal operations and covert activity affecting Wall Street.

There was never a "War on Drugs" it was a "War with Drugs" a way to shift the economy and control the people by the masses.

Things just got out of control, and the Twin Towers was an escape tactic, a desperate attempt to hide the state of a failing economy due to illegal covert activity and the foreseen global catastrophic reaction by the administration. This is what spurned our current involvement in the Iraq/Iran wars. We never wanted to find Osama. The two previous occupants of the president’s seat show the relationship was too strong.

It will take us at least until well after year 2012 to even begin to turn this economic crisis into a positive arena.

1). We must face our previous practices, and become responsible for our past decisions.

2). We can no longer monetize by continuously printing tender and call it legal.

3). We must concentrate on our assets in health education, accredited education, and welfare. We must bring volunteers and mentors together within our firms and promote ethical practices and leadership within our small businesses and commercial companies.

4). We must become creative with our foreign counterparts and agree to longstanding relationships that benefit society as a whole society, and stop the discriminatory practices that wage war.

5). We must streamline our foreign governments in relationships that coordinate and stimulate positive influences and orchestration.

6). We must include finance and performing arts as core curriculum in our public school systems. We must link our local communities in ways that all merchants, schools, city and county governments interact for the common good of the population.

7). We are living in very uncertain and desperate times. Our decisions must be well researched, well planned and well rehearsed. No longer can we depend on outside assists from governments when we can control our own destiny and purpose.

Healthy lifestyles will be the most important engagement we can accomplish. We will become more creative, focused, and alert to opportunities as well as uncertain conditions that surround us. We will make the smart choices and live smart lifestyles.
